I am a UAE-based CDA-licensed and Australian-licensed practitioner with 15 years of experience. I hold a Master’s in Counselling from Australia and am also a UK-certified Clinical Supervisor.
I work with individuals and couples, with particular interest in:
My approach is relational and depth-oriented. I am interested in the patterns that shape us beneath the surface — the roles we take on, the ways we protect ourselves, and the unconscious dynamics that can repeat across relationships and different areas of our lives.
My work draws on attachment, psychodynamic, relational and transpersonal perspectives, with an emphasis on helping clients understand not only what they are experiencing, but why certain patterns continue to recur.
Raised in Pakistan in a mixed-race household, with an Australian mother and Pakistani father, I have a deep appreciation for the complexity of culture, identity and belonging. Having lived in several countries, I bring a culturally nuanced and globally informed perspective to my work.
I believe the relationship we have with ourselves profoundly shapes the way we relate to others and the wider world. Therapy can help us understand our patterns with greater compassion and awareness, creating more freedom in how we choose to live and relate.
I feel deeply grateful for the privilege of witnessing intimate and meaningful processes of psychological change.
